The purpose of registering Human Nutrition Oriented Professionals (HNOPs) is the betterment of people of Pakistan. Professionals from several fields, other than nutrition, are required for the effective planning and implementation of Nutrition Education Programs, as well as for supporting nutrition care in clinical and public health settings. Although the professionals with background other than Nutrition and/or Dietetics are not expected to undertake nutrition care activities within the field of practice, their understanding of Nutrition and/or Dietetics will surely be an asset to the team. The team work of different professionals along the nutrition-oriented ones will surely generate effective projects and programs where expertise in other areas of field is required.
